As we gaze upon the verdant expanse of hills decked in emerald
With skies of sapphire, flecked with silver's dance do herald
Through warm windows, chilled by winter's steely grasp
Our eyes, two wells, in which turbulent thoughts seep
A maze unfurls, a vortex swirling deep
As a potpourri of thoughts that bubble, crackle, and spin active our mind keep
Some glide, ethereal, through the misty haze,
While others rage, like tempests, in our bewildered gaze
Like Dumbledore's pensieve, our minds unveil,
The windmills of our thoughts, where shadows conceal.
The carousel spins, unspooling memories, which forever last like autumn leaves
We wrestle with our inner demons in darkness and depth
To vanquish past fears that in our hearts had taken root
With courage tempered, hearts of steel we bear
And to the world, a different face we share.
Yet, hidden truths reside within our mind's quagmire,
Where ambiguity and stormy weather conspire.
But still we rise, like earth spinning wild
Through trials of water and scorching fire our destiny we find
Let us cherish life's simple, precious delights,
The songs of birds, laughter's lilting lights,
The earthy scent of mud, the breeze's gentle sway,
And flowers blooming, vibrant, come what may.
And when fate's twisted path besets our way,
Let mercy, ruth, and greenery illuminate our day.
For we are captains of our minds, the ocean vast,
Let not our ship sink, lost, forever to be past.
Like fireflies, our hope shall flicker bright,
Illuminating all, banishing endless night.
Not like Captain Ahab, consumed by vengeful fire,
We'll kindle love, and warmth, our hearts' greatest desire.
This labyrinth, our mind, a quest joyful and bright,
Reflecting beauty within, leaving us wonderstruck in awe and delight.
