Lake Of Thousand Islands Poem by Charles WOO

Lake Of Thousand Islands

At the lake of Chun-an, one thousand islands float.
It looks like a jade mirror with sailing boat.
Local people cultivate these small pieces of land.
To entertain tourists, snakes coil and monkeys stand.

Another edible gem. Will any of it survive the revolution, or the next.
