Lament - Poem by Roselyn A.M.

Hold my hands
Electrify me with the warmth of your heart
I wish to feel secure with you
Light the fire of passion
Blanket me with a pure kind of love
Please take me out
From the agony of doubt
I don’t want to be here
Succumbed with insecurities and pride
I thank you tonight
'Cause still I see you try
In front of the curtain of truth you rise
So never give up
Never give up on me
Like a mighty warrior to rescue her love
Lead me into your thrown
Your crown of patience shall keep me alive
