Lamentation In The Deep Poem by Vadakkumpurath Ramesan

Lamentation In The Deep

As the rose-red sunset hover me,
My thoughts are dwindling,
My hopes too are dwindling.
I felt unresponsive,
Unrelenting and unemotional,
I yearned for my eternal abode,
I groaned with mental agony,
I moaned over the cinders of my dreams!
My reasoning stumble,
When I find myself sobbing before fate,
Who’s unflinching but unalterable judgments,
Ask me to take the bitter cup!
My eyes are surprised when I gazed,
I see the white horses with wings,
That wade the white clouds,
I hear the rhythm sound of the horse ride,
I hear the sound of the rolling wheels of the chariot,
I see the Lord, the charioteer smiling,
My soul flapped it wings in readiness,
My Lord stretch his hands to reach me,
He took me to the chariot when I leaped,
He heard my lamentations in the deep!
The chariot moved to the heavens!
Goodbye blue globe, goodbye!
I lose my earthly skin touch!
As I turned and tossed in the bed,
My dream snapped!
I woke up and walked to the life!
