Land Of Flies Poem by Nicholas Abaddon

Land Of Flies

Down the hall of the Land of Flies
trudges the beetle with a mind full of lies.
The majority of flies demand more feces to eat
the minority of the Land of Flies
Ignores the masses plight behind barbed wire.

The Great Boar demands feces be sent across the world to fill the beetle's kingdom
The younger flies ship their feces to the king of dung and lose their future for lack of enough feces.

At home the Lion can no longer wed the antelope, but eats a dove at the stove top.
The House of Flies sends the Lion feces for fire fuel.
The red ants mold feces into stingers and attack the Honey bees
For their sticky golden wax.

the Feces trade booms and the Land of Flies spreads webs with the crafty spider
Ensnaring the silk worms and the deer to labor for want of feces while silk is sold to the beetle for the flies feces

a gaping soar opened in the Great Boar and is infected by Feces,
He pays his bills with feces borrowed from the Beetle that came from the Land of the Flies.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was wandering along haplessly. skipping to my lute after playing for the king of Faroffsville. When I was crossing the river Holydeepwater I saw a wise old man- or a man i hope was wise- He told me i should write this and so i did. He also told me i should travel three pages back into the book and slay the dragon to save the gnome. indeed he was wise.
