*Lap of Nature*
Derived from nature's breast,
Adorned with nature's ornaments,
I see in you a grace, which shall never fade.
Sun's glades light up your boughs.
And you sparkle in glorious shades;
Hear my calls, embrace me, while you sway!
I see your tiny ones, the little cherubs!
Holding a smile within...
I count you among nature's wonders!
As a bystander,
I watch you offering your lap,
for lovers' mischief...
A home for nature's children...
Why do you weep at this hour!
Alas! I can feel in you a dying pain
When the weapon cuts you into pieces
For the pleasure of the destroyer...
