Last Birthday Poem by Delphinium Bloom

Last Birthday

Pearls of black shining in his eyes
a faint cry rising from my soul
time to say goodbye, he is unaware.
He is busy playing with his toys
plastic dinosaurs, teddies and cars
everything is spread on the floor.
The birthday of a lovely child
he is turning four years now
It's not forth, it's last
but he won't know that.
His heartbeats are fading
soon he will meet the God
I can only stand and watch
fate is not in my hands.
Even when you shine with stars
I will lull you every night
waves of love will never cease
motherly love is perennial.
Memories flood everywhere
your first words, smiles and when you walked
I will treasure everything
and live a dead life.
