Last Breath Poem by buddah boy

Last Breath

A wispy gasping gulp it was
A sound that fills my mind, because
When I heard it I just knew
That knell would be the end of you

And from the room the air consumed
As though a punctuation loomed
The exclamation mark of time
The bell of life its last note chimed

A vortex of your soul invoked
Last embers of your fire were stoked
You were no more and so farewell
The bitter end it broke your spell
