Last Goodbye Poem by Katie Porter

Last Goodbye

I don't know which way to turn,
I'm trapped in a corner,
By walls I put up myself,
By my own lies and deceit,
I trapped you too,
Even though I never knew,
Looking in your eyes made me see,
How you have been affected even more,
Yet your the innocent,
The 1 who should be free,
So I'm running away,
Hoping these wall will crumble,
So we can both be free again,
Before we had our laughs and tears,
Shared by both yet so far apart,
I hope you can forgive me one,
Although I know that,
You will never forgot what I done,
Enough for us just to be friends like before,
That one day you will find a girl,
Who will give you what you need,
In other words the direct opposite to me,
But who will love you just as much as I do,
Right at this moment,
With the tears running down my face,
Saying this last goodbye,
It's running away what I'm going to do I know,
But it feels like stumbling and crawling,
Away from my one weakness,
The person I love the most but hey,
We all have to do what we have to do,
I don't even have my dignity,
I took that from myself when I cheated,
So goodbye my friend, my love, my heart.
