I remember a time,
When you were by my side,
But baby that times been and gone,
The world has got to move on,
And so have I, even thought I don’t want to,
Of this moment please,
Don’t ever expect me by your side again,
Cos I have to move on,
For my sake, for your sake, for the worlds sake,
I’m so sorry but I can’t wait any more,
Not for you, not for any one,
I am me, and I’m taking back,
Control over me and my life,
That switch is no longer in your hands,
It’s in mine again now,
Cos baby even though I love you,
I can’t wait forever,
And I know one day,
You’re going to want me back,
But I’m so sorry it’s not fair,
I can’t run when you call,
Love you when you say I can,
It’s over for good,
This fire never to be rekindled,
Just gunna through away the key now,
And make you go from my heart.
