Last Night Poem by Paul Ojevwe Dididjon

Last Night

Last Night
The previous night is a necklace that hangs down her chest
and her memory is the chains of bondage she has to bear
if though were wounds then she will bleed to death
last night is a dark movie, she a victim
it is a forbidden story that cause the tongue to bleed
but nature must play its role, as it sings the songs of horror
a song of broken sacred path, desecrated by Amon

The night is a dreadful beast, a story that kills the ear

She is a young fruit plunked at the beginning of time
and plant among disgarded seeds
