Late Night Wish Upon A Star

I made a wish upon a star
To find out if we truly are
Meant to be and meant to see
Each other every day

It wasn't long, It wasn't much
I just wished to feel your touch
To hold your hand
To walk with you
Together on the shore

I did it quick
I did it fast
Shooting stars, they never last
My wish was gone, on its way
To open up your heart

My wish came true
And I have you
Walking next to me
Your hand: in mine
Your touch: divine
Our love is all I see
