Late Nights Poem by Alexander Hess

Late Nights

Rating: 5.0

You hang out with friends during the day.
You try too.
When you have the free time.
Only free time we have are late nights.
After you get off work.
Once you have time to think.
Late nights are the time
when you really want to enjoy yourself.
Because it's the only time
when you can enjoy yourself.
But you have so little left.
You want to enjoy your day,
but there is too much left.
Too much time, until you reach your late nights.
You want to enjoy your life,
and you do.
You try too.
But only during those late nights.
