Lead Me Not Astray Poem by Abdul Majid Ahmed

May I be Thy blessed one O! God
Lead me not astray being fret.
Single me out of falk with some merit.
Though I not pray Thee but never forget
Thine glorious existance and supreme power.
Yeld me only a single ray of flash in my field,
To brighten me more than that of gold.
Hold me O! God beneath Thy invisible feet
Never to be trodden by them,
Who have already been led astray.
But make me the follower servant of them,
Who have already got Thy kindness.
