Learning From Life Poem by Francis Duggan

Learning From Life

The seeds of knowledge slow to grow
The more I learn I come to know
That I do know little I do realize
This in itself is not a surprise
We learn from life until we die
To say differently would be a lie
We learn as we live as the wise one does say
A new lesson from life for us every day
Those who think they know all are quite lucky indeed
Since of any more knowledge they are not in need
Life lessons for us are not of the few
And every day as long as our memory last we learn something new
We have been learning from life before we learned how to crawl
And when I say we this does apply to all.
