Learning From Mistakes Poem by Newo Enec

Learning From Mistakes

Ive corrupted myself beyond repair
And all was just for you
Ive peeled the skin off of my face
Just like your eyes had told me to
Ive ruined another mindless robot
So easy to control
You just never would have dreamed
Id demolish on my own
Did you know I used to tell myself
I wouldnt let this happen
I always thought they deserved this
They, to whom it happened
But I let you take advantage
You stole me
And made me ugly, yours
Do you realize how much I never loved myself
Now its so much worse
You fooled me at first
Its my turn to do the damage
I plunged the blade into your side
And left it there to burn
Yes Ive got my lesson
That no one else will have to learn
Especially not from you
...if you were around it would be different
It would be different if both of us
were still alive
