Leather Jacket Poem by Veronica T. C.

Leather Jacket

Rating: 5.0

Behind that leather jacket,
Away from the cigarette smoke,

I can see an eternal light that nobody can revoke,
I want you,
Nobody else but you,

Let's run and leave everything behind us,
Jumping on your bike into the sunset.
All I need is your trust,
Love me like there's no tomorrow,

I want you in my arms tonight,
Love me and take all my sorrows away,
I won't give up without a fight,

So put your lips on my lips like no body's watching,
Because today's the time for a new beginning,
Behind that leather jacket,
Away from the cigarette smoke.
Miles away from civilization is where we'll go.
