Left Foot Blue Poem by Robert Rorabeck

Left Foot Blue

Pals in opposing sexes
When in agreement
Slap lips
Tongue twist
I’ve seen mommy and
Daddy doing this

If I fed it a quarter,
Would you come alive
And give me
Your tongue
Through the bars
At the zoo?
