to have set out
walking on legs that
have walked before
up hills, as hills before,
mountains, a little further
each time, and seas
well seas, who knows,
a depth too deep
where lurks the ugly,
times suffered I'm sure
no stranger to the dark
though all along
legs have been legs,
it's thighs all over
and born, not newborn,
- it's that year again
