I am so glad to read this poem on John Lennon. The people of our country remember him with love and respect for his pioneering role in arranging a concert named 'Bangladesh Concert' in 1971 to raise funds for helping the millions who suffered due to the atrocities of the Pakistan Army when my country was fighting its War of Liberation. He wrote and sang a song on Bangladesh describing the situation prevailing here at that time.
