Let Go Poem by Allyson Gordon

Let Go

Please I’m begging you
Let me leave here
Let death take me away
To a place without fear

Just kiss me goodbye
And tell me you love me
That’s all you can do now
Before I am set free

Free of this world
And all the cruelty within
Life is the punishment
Death is not a sin

I will leave here with grace
Without fear or regret
My memories I will erase
My life I will forget

Will you join me?
Tonight and forever
In death we will stay
For an eternity together
