Love Said No Poem by Allyson Gordon

Love Said No

Rating: 5.0

As we walk the path of misery once more
We find the keys to unlock the door
To the room that hides our hearts
Love pierces our flesh like poison darts
We beg for death but are denied
Tonight we wish we had died
Love’s grasp is too strong
Why did everything go wrong?
Love is the reason we still live
But we have nothing left to give
Why is it so hard to let go?
Kill me I begged, but love said no
