Let Go The Cares And Fears Poem by A. P. Hancock

Let Go The Cares And Fears

Come sit with me and swing away, this lazy afternoon
There's no one here to trouble us, and no one coming soon

The porch is such a cozy place, where thoughts can fly away
It ever seems to call our names, inviting us to stay

Look there the crow chased by the wren, a brave heart little one
And there the fawn on forest edge, bathed by the shade and sun

Where shall we go today my friend, it matters not to me
You choose and I will tag along, together we'll be free

Perhaps you want to soar among, fond thoughts of days gone by
Or float amidst the clouds of dreams, found in tomorrow's sky

Share with me what you're seeing now, bright visions fresh and clear
Grab hold of all you know can be, let go the cares and fear
