Let Her Be Poem by DASHARATH NAIK

Let Her Be

Rating: 5.0

Cursed is she
A victim of circumstances
Be she who she may
Wife sister mother daughter
Relative or friend
Known or unknown
A third person singular.

Offer her a welcoming smile
Extend your hand
Wipe her tears
Stand by her all the way
Give her a chance to recover
Walk by her side
With your soothing words
Let her regain her power
Restore her confidence.

Already disheartened she is
Make her feel free from bother
No more social abuse
Postmortem not her past history
Slap her not
Comfort her, confront not
Give her way
Let her breathe in free air first
Let her feel easy and cosy
Let her revive her damaged soul
Rejuvenate her hope high
Walk holding her hands
And let her exist triumphantly.

Never judge her past
Let her live in present
She be given another chance
Let her plan her future
Give her the gift of your sensibility
Love her unconditionally
And she will return it in multiples
At least understand her heart
Feel her what she needs within.
