Let It Be Like This Poem by Daisy Pereira

Let It Be Like This

Let me translate you
into clouds, valleys and springs
which reddens the blooming lady of south
stars witness this peculiar pact of trust.

Let there be pauses between us
and spaces so that
waves from your ocean
can come and meet mine
two worlds two oceans
merges and subsides.

Let me tell you
mere sadness of your leaves
touches me now..

The blue veins filled with red blood
burst with brightness
of a thousand suns..
