Let It Out Poem by Annie Copper

Let It Out

Rest your mind and close your eyes, let your thoughts dispell,
Do not let it eat you up, don't go through that living hell.
You really mustn't dwell on it, let it disapear,
You do not need to worry, you do not need to fear.
We can overcome it all, as long as we're hand in hand,
We can achieve our future, the one that we had planned.
We have fought through far too much, to just let go of this,
Remember happy times we've shared, you need to reminisce.
Do not even start to think, hard times are sent to break us,
They show the love that we possess, is completely endless.
We know we are worth fighting for, the feelings that we feel,
Let the breaks begin to mend, let our love congeal.
Do not fall below the waves, keep your self afloat,
If you cannot do it, let me be your lifeboat.
I am here to help you, to keep you safe and sound,
From now I'll only mend you, and keep you on the ground.
I promise not to hurt you, never again will this come about,
Forever I will cherish you heart, and be entirely devout.
I will keep nothing from you, I'll tell you everything,
Because my life only started, when I let you in.
