Where there is happiness, there ought to be grief,
the smiling faces that carries burden of sorrow;
Forever praying by day to put dismay in brief
Unaware are people as to what materialistic world offers morrow.
Let's soak ourselves into the pragmatic privation
to unearth en the realms of our capabilities;
Let's endeavor to accept pain of the abrasion,
so as to build an edifice so strong that knows no instabilities.
Courageous is one who burns oneself in fire
to enlighten the mass from the shadows;
a sir is who is't outsmarts the situation dire,
yet smirk at the sight of end in meadows.
Pain is known to one who it embraces,
undettered is that one unfraid of consequences he faces.
Beautiful piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned in good poetic diction with conviction. An insightful poem elegantly brought forth in lovely Shakespearean sonnet rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing Pratap. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
