they treated you.
I've heard all the mean things
that they've said to you.
I've seen and heard it all
and it kills me inside to know
that you'll be crying yourself
to sleep tonight.
But, every time I get close to you
you push me away like all the others
because your afraid to let your heart open
to only be crushed again.

But, girl please I'm begging you.
Let me be the one to show you
that I'm not like the rest.

Let me be the prince
and you be the princess.
Let me be the one
to shower you with love.
Let me be the one
to cuddle with you at night.
Let me be the one
to make all your worries
