Let Me Die Happy Poem by Cody Allan Turner

Let Me Die Happy

A man trapped in sanity, hath discovered in he
“Our lives are prone to sadness
But let me die happy.”

Count each day as fair and true
Though the day to me is not to you
“Hearts ought to be held on the outside
Unleashing passion and asserting pride.”

A journey like no others is lived in each
Each life delicate! Precious too!
“A land of your joys upon a beach
Awaits when the journey is through.”

In growing accustomed to knowing one thing
One’s own being becomes a bore
“Live a different way each day
And living shall become no chore”

A man trapped in sanity, hath discovered in he
“Our lives are prone to sadness
But let me die happy.”
