Let Me Live With You Poem by Old Rose Celine

Let Me Live With You

Roaming around
Strolling down the highway
Glancing at every corner
Hoping, waiting, gazing
That your presence is just nearby

Pacing continuously
Striding by the river banks
Left, right, up and down
My eyes erratically scroll
Wishing your spirit could be felt

Running along the pathways
Gliding at the smoothness of the grass
Rolling, stumbling, falling out of my senses
Still static on your absence
A blank face filled with agony

Looking around
Searching for more clues
Wailing, squealing, shrieking out loud
Every search is so unending
Unyielding, dismaying, inexplicable

Don't leave me in despair
For I am nothing if I don't have you
Don't deprive me of my heart's desires
I would be lame if I lost you
Don't mess with my life

Don't keep your broken promises
For heaven and earth would explode
Don't shake your head in regret
For my heart is so fragile
Don't give me up

Let me live with peace
It's what my mind has opined
Let me live with commitment
It's what my life has craved for
Let me live with sincerity

Let me live with hope
It's how I shall make my dreams come true
Don't slow down on loving me
Let me spend my days with delight
Being with you for the rest of my life
