Let Me Sail In Your Arms (Sonnet #192) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Let Me Sail In Your Arms (Sonnet #192)

My heart thinks and beats for you, is that love?
My mind feels you, smells the scent of your words
You water my heart more than I dream of
Let's run away from this world so absurd.

Let me sail in your arms and dive in your eyes
Let me hear my heart beating in your chest
That tender heart that within me resides
Then on the shore of your soul let me rest.

Let us tread deep valleys, climb high mountains
Hand in hand, heart to heart and soul to soul
Let us chant and dance when it starts to rain
Then lit a soft fire as soon as night falls.

Let us sleep on a bed of white daisies,
Till birds awake us with their melodies.
