Let Me Understand You Poem by Kimberly Hope

You said you love me,
you promised that it would last forever.
Now you say that you don't love me.
What ever happened to forever?
You pretend like you don't care,
yet you're the only one keeping me alive.
You tell others that you want nothing to do with me,
yet you tell me you want to be friends,
but that major changes must take place.
I am so confused,
what is it that you really want?
Won't you please tell me?
I feel as if I have failed you yet again,
only this time, in complete nonsense.
I wonder, have I failed you though?
You act a bit ashamed of me,
but within reality, are you?
Won't you answer all my questions,
to let me understand you?
I could handle not to be your baby,
but I wish to be your best friend!
Please, just please talk to me,
let me understand you,
let us be best friends again.
