A happy nation; warm people
Faces beaming everywhere
Gas greet Akans for response
Intermarriage among the tribe;
Blood that mixes so easily
Rich culture that integrate
Lay your troubles flat on the ground
Or let them soar in the sky
Espy the eyes that see;
The hands that help you rise
And admire our beautiful coexistence
Naturally graced with many tongues
Let politics not divide us
When our tribes could not do it
Let politics not divide us
When colonization could not succeed
We have come far
Politics can not render our toils in vain
Peace that builds;
War that destroys
Unity that stands;
Division that falls
Life has many choices,
Let the prudent and the sapient folks decide.
