Let's Be Poem by Elvis Addae

Let's Be

Let's lie on spar to row
Where we can't wait to soar
So high from the valleys below
Let's be together with you
Distant from cry, wry and sorrow
And not just in a blue moon

Can't be patient to see this wonder
As we hope and wish
For the joy beauty can offer
And the bones and dust resist
Yet still a foe Love will conquer
With it's strongest fist

Let's be at peace with the present
Let's climb the mountain of legends
Where the diamonds and gold dwell
And the others wrestle for us
Like a precious pearl

If we are let's be
If you care trust me
For the bond that comes from right and wrong
Isn't just a figment
But an intimacy which will last all day long
