Let's Dance Poem by Dereck Gibbs

Let's Dance

Under an avalanche of arousal
I suffocate as she accepts my proposal
To slow dance to the music of our bodies
A wave of fantasy engulfs me
Her, the only one to make it reality
She leaves me breathless
As I try to inhale all of her into me
Stuck in this trance
This stance anticipating our private dance
You compliment me sinfully
Our opposites attract
When I go up and you come down
You’re on top and I’m below
Grinding ever so slow
The conversation of our actions
A physical chain reaction
My nerves screaming for her touch
With my golden quill
I dip into her rich ink
To write her love poems
To make her think
To link our bodies and our minds
Enchanted by her hypnotic eyes
As I slip between her thighs
Bowing before my queen
You know what I mean
I caress her kingdom’s doors
Shyly my tongue explores her
God’s greatest treasure
My doorway to give her pleasure
With my insatiable appetite
I taste her tenderness
Her natural scent, her wilderness
Unwilling to escape her essence
I subject myself to you
Subduing willingly to this orgasmic journey
She took it all deep and slow
Held in a hedonistic embrace
So afraid to let go
Her quivering lips whisper satisfaction
Into my ear where
Our dance is synchronized
In this wonderful melody
Her screams of ecstasy I kidnap with my mouth
On this journey only I possess the key
I savour her taste that lingers on
From the dance of our song
