Let Truth Prevail Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Let Truth Prevail

Rating: 5.0

*Satya mev jayte* is ancient saying with clear message
"Let the truth prevail and score in all the ages"
Often spoken by many people when under duress
Worry lines clearly seen and observed on the faces

Satya or truth has remained an illusory concept
A person always claiming to be near truth with act
Leaving behind a long tail of suspicion
With no force of conviction and precision

The truth has been pushed behind for metaphor phrase
It may look nice to hear but strong enough to fall back in chase
People may take an oath to speak truth but rely upon bundles of untruth
Yet find not guilty at heart and find the way convenient and smooth

No doubt ultimate end may be pleasant with strict following
But no one may like it on face and finally disallowing
Advance the arguments and follow the same path as others are doing
Under the lame excuse" we are only human being"

Neither have I reason to dispute the easy flow
Nor any advice for others to blindly go
Yet truth can't be denied for its forceful impact
When you are on right path with powerful act

Eyes may reflect magnetic waves to spell magic
The feet may move decisively to speak its basic
It may dishearten or discourage when pursued
But over all result may certainly be viewed

To speak untruth and take a shield has become an art
It has made us politicians to adopt it as an inseparable part
It is argued convincingly and followed with little regret
But truth has remained truth for people not to forget
