Lethe's Drunkenness (1/5) Poem by Leon Moon

Lethe's Drunkenness (1/5)

Rating: 4.0

The sore thighs, spreading like Lethe's blood
Into the roots of soil, suckling the wine for future brood
Where drunkenness lies, quaking like supper before Emerald cheekbones
And ripened like memories of Dawn, rising beyond those dry thawing Dunes;

Revelations - over Seas and globes!
Eternities - below Caves and bones!
Memories - Within Natures and desires!
Destines - Hiding through Womb's and fires! ...
Where all our loves are met, and forgotten by Sunrise
- The fiery eyes reminding us of our poisonous cries!

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Persuasive writing. " The fiery eyes reminding us of our poisonous cries"… a closing remark that gnaws at our brains…
