Lets' Break Up! Poem by Ousman Ceesay

Lets' Break Up!

Its either love is wrong but I was right..
After romantic scrutiny I deemed you fit for my taste,
At first, you sounded cute, appear golden, listened all ears...
Your thoughts were conforming to my stamina,
I got bemused by your sorcerous compassion and look...
Our companionship not relationship—Was succulent, call it caramelized sugar.
Hey "Nnaa"! She is enchanting my youthful age.
Of a sudden, the devil in wilderness starts shedding,
The Bedouin from the ashes of lust confronts my dream moment,
Indeed like charges are meant to repel..Science was ever right!
The clarion call from her heart beats no more for my attention,
Her smile wears off in vain and dust,
Wether third party interference, I don't care, I was raged and robbed.
I made peace with my fall and I will rise and shine like Cornelius Sigan of Merlin,
My demand is to be pardoned and we shall split like uranium in a nuclear fission,
Until then I prefer to dissociate rather to associate.
Let's break up.........discontinued!
