Letter For The Fallen Poem by Pedro Cescon

Letter For The Fallen

Your tears are your tears...
But I can't avoid making them my fears...

Your pain is your pain...
My heart aches, for your pain also is my pain, my stain...

And when I see your wings broken...
Or when I see your dreams shattered...
I want to be your hope's token...
And tell you past sorrow never mattered...

Believe in my tears, not as painful as yours when you fall...
But they hold my love for you, my hopes and all...

So please, don't give up...
I know that life aches...
As an emptied cup...
Once filled with mistakes...

But it is the one thing you got...
And at doom since the birth...
Be it holy or rot...
It is one life's worth...

So, please, rise from your downfall...
And feel confident to stand tall...
And to that will make you cope...
The faith and fate you give to hope...

That is my wish, that hope is what holds our bind!
From: your brother of living being kind...
