for Kwesanda Ma Lucky Abedu - Bentsi
i love you
for your hands has been a breach over my trouble waters
your legs prints the right path so mine won't loose track
even so i embrace you
like a man hug his thick jacket on a freezing lonely road
like two lovers who lost sight in a very long while
your kindness is stuck in my memory
july 10 2021, you single-handedly celebrated my birthday
& days without number your stretch hands filled my pocket
not forgetting your concern for my being
allowing food pass through my throat down to my stomach
& the care you shower towards my school
I read the scriptures
john wasn't taken out of mary
but Jesus said "woman behold thy son"
& you one person that take it so personal
