Today walked with smiling face
Before sleep felt from their eyes
Dazzling men proclaimed he's not there
Why seek the living, among the dead
News too good to be true
Burst open was the tomb
Stone rolled away and soldiers;
All fainted and lost breath
The hands and legs which
That night with nails was pierce,
And body that gave up the ghost
Was found fresh from head to toes
Their eyes couldn't picture him
Ears too doubt what it heard
Flesh and blood didn't reveal to Mary
When she cried loud 'Rabboni'
Mourning was diluted with joy
As their mind capture his words
He'll be crucified and on the third day,
The grave will not hold him captive
Fear had to release their body
Happiness seized their soul and spirit
Their lips were soaked in praises
Chanting hallelujah to God Almighty
