Letter To My Future Husband

Dear future husband,
Hi, i hope this finds you well. I have been thinking about you of late.I only get to see you in my dreams and fantasies. I wonder how we will meet. Maybe in the matatu i standing and you offer me a sit maybe at the coffee shop in the queue and you excuse me first. I personally apologise for not making you my priority and ignoring you for 24 years. I apologise for not knowing how to make your favourite meal but with time i promise to learn. Due to the hectic days in Nairobi i may forget to call you back or text you to ask what you wish to have for dinner. But i promise to keep record and reminders of everything. I promise never to hold anything against you even when your ex calls or you forget our annivesary or my birthday but please try to remember and avoid temptations. I promise to pray for you and also pray with you. I always thought that i have met you not once or twice but a couple of times. But please dont judge my past and i promise not to hurt you because i have been hurt. One thing i promise you is that i know how to love because i have been hurt before. I will capture every moment we have and treasure it too. I promise to do my best, i will learn you culture, tribe, and do all my wifely duties. I will stand strong with you during your weakest moments, lift you when you fall and enjoy your best moments too. I promise to love you infinity + infinity.I hope we meet soon.
