Letter To My Unborn Child Poem by Katlego Rasegwete

Letter To My Unborn Child

Dear my child

crawling to my future,
quenching my present desires with imaginary you
i wanna explode with happiness, like a tornado exploding with powerful pressure
drop tears of giving dejavu of excitement, like a rain drops manifesting its going to rain

when I heard the words of 'I will have a child'
hoped and wished
I be there when you be laboured on earth
i witness your first sound when you cry or learn to say mama
witness your beauty before the entire world does that
give you a 2nd kiss before you become lip protector for every one

can't wait for the days you be source of my stress
can't wait for days i yell at you
can't wait for days you sometimes see me as a best dad, sometimes as a good dad to you
can't wait for moments I will share with you though they are unpredictable

for me
you are all that i want
To us
you will be the creator of world war 4
As stone of words will be thrown fighting for a name to brand you with.......
Betting games will arise cause of your gender

Hope I be a good father
biblically be your Samson when you need me

this letter will pass oceans, galaxies and universes
will change time zones to get to you
without an address and your name
this letter will get to you

letter to my unborn baby
