Letter To Reno Poem by Earnest Gatuma

Letter To Reno

Rating: 5.0

Retro spectre
My good friend Reno Caesar
Since a youngin
Remember on my timeline?
I wanted to be like you,
A star!
Cold breeze initials swift in your vocal lingo
All eyes gravitated towards us,
But you were the first beast
I was still bogged down in the mud
As you rose from the western sea,
Prophecies from Greece;
Red Knights from the Celtics
And so on the ballad sings.

Yahweh is order in infinity
Rather we have been blinded by John
Black is mortal enemy to the oracle
Better believe me the apostle was iffy
Did not know better choices
Between sulphur and bloody oaths,
Saw only the utter judgement.

We are all blind of what is to come,
But the villain see bees collective
And I speak of honey combs dripping,
But men say am berserk leave alone senile
In a delirium of sweet grandiosity
Racial genocide impending in my nightmare,
The eruption and resurrection of power
Blue is black but rigid and inside out,
Elementary that is frail but a vital ingredient
Are you for technology or the cornerstone?
The white stones gigantic and Celtic.
