I have bought you from the devil
I have purchased you with my blood
No longer held to God’s wrath above
I protect you by my name
And ask nothing in return
Remember me person,
Witness, and learn
No rhyme or reason
Be patient and wait
Life is full of heart ache
And sinful mistakes
Live righteous and true
The best you know how
When faced with death
I will rescue you somehow
I will guard your soul
But not your mortal flesh
I will wait for you at home
Now live life at your best
