[maybe a lot of mine are prose poems also; i wasn't sure what to call them] Favorite stanza ………..so far: 2. Dear Kelly Today the sun covers me like a glove. As I lay on the sunny beach of Victoria, wishing you were here. Handsome hard bodies strutting round I see, but that round belly comforts me. As the sand slips through my fingers, it is your image that rests upon my mind. Oh Kelly, as the cliché states, you’re sure one of a kind. ………………….. I especially like “Today the sun covers me like a glove.” I don’t know why it does. it just DOES! I wonder what it would feel like to be YOUR glove! is “one of a kind” a compliment or what? ! in #5 ……………… Poor Kelly! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ; ( in 6 and 7 you have “De ar” instead of “Dear”. intentional? ? :) “Your hands splayed upon my back.” ……….. is this poem rated “R” aka ‘no one under 17 admitted’? ? I have some on PH which are XX. heh heh. at least I don’t think they’ve been removed. you do know, I hope, that if you don’t sign ‘your’ letters, Kelly won’t know if you are 1,2,3, or 4! in #8: “I slip into euphoria and rest with you upon the blades.” …….. rollerblades, knifeblades, or (hopefully) blades of grass. by the way, have you been smokin’ some? in 9: did Fred REALLY die? ? ? my condolences. [as for the comment from Kelly Kurt………………… did you really write these letters to a man? I am doubting it. I think it is created to entertain yourself and ME! ] [some readers will believe ANYTHING! ] SOME OF THIS POEM reminds me of poems by Lora Colon; hers are romantic, searching, hoping, wishing, sad (for some) , AND very well-written. I’M NOT sure if “hoping” and “wishing” are different. :) I know that hopping and washing are different. NO wonder ‘she’ signed only the last one. she has a very long name! this was very entertaining. thanks. I may even send it to MyPoemList. might as well; it took me “long enough” to read it! ! bri :)

What an incredible series of letters! The whole of the life of a heart. Highs that change the very fabric of a being, and lows that strip away any meaning or desire of life. It takes an open, pure soul, with radiance and LIFE to write such moving thoughts. Thank you for sharing, Melvina. Peace
