Letting Go Poem by Felix Otiende

Letting Go

LETTING Go

What did I do to deserve this pain?
Was I not good enough?
I know I wasn't popular like you, I got your back
How will I face my world?

What did she gave you to betray our friendship and trust?
I knew well, I wasn't your type
But did you have to embarrassed me, was I your dog?
Do you remember I wetted my pants?

Do you remember when everything was about us?
And only us and our toys
Playing with sticks the whole day
Taking care of grandpa cattle before bathing in muddy water

When I stole mums only little sugar
You were ready to die for me
What happen my dearest friend?
Nothing is left but bitter old sweet memories

Goodbye my old friend I will find my own status.
