My world crumbles when you walked away.
I just can’t understand that it must be that way,
Why do you have to leave right at the moment
When I was seeking your warm confinement?
Right that time when you reached out your hand
And I don’t know why the hell I took it
But right after that, you wearily stand
And suddenly I’m sure, together we’ll make it.
But why now that the years had flown by,
You are now leaving everything aside
What happened to the promises we made?
Were they only foolish and cheesy accolades?
It seems we both wasted our precious time,
And right now I’m feeling I committed a crime.
I came to think, what a useless story I made
As I watch your silhouette as it slowly fade
But still wishing upon a shooting star
That even if you truly walk away so far
We could still see the same radiant star
That would eventually lead us to the altar.
Even though this will surely hurt me
Still I will let you go, set you free
Because I want you to be happy…
Even if not with me...
