Letting Go Poem by phillip ibsen

Letting Go

So long so lost yet i found you
through thick and thin we survived the taboo
so amazing you were my strength too
and i couldn't take a step without you

From dark to light we came
you were adoring as if from space
under the sunshine i saw your face
and you said our passion weren't the same

You parted ways as if we never met
Flashing back how sweet we were as pets
but i have decided to be my own vet
to see how suitable i am as your pet

i tried so hard to make you realize
still sitting here thinking as i visualize
the first time my heart got mesmerized
to this heartbreak that got me surprised

I trusted you but you became treacherous
you stabbed me on the back i thought you a sorcerer
now my heart is bleeding as i watch you go
my soul is maimed now am letting go....
