Lie Me To Pieces - Poem by Amanda Larsen

Whisper dark secrets
Watch me not leave
Promise me suicide
I was just lost
Between the chords
Where childhood died
And I skipped to minore
‘cause life wasn't fair

Lie under my teardrops
Clutch on to my hair
It's your right to leave me
It's my right to care
Then break one more promise
And promise again
Just lie me to pieces

Hold me together
And tear me apart
I'll tell you you're beautiful
Disobey orders
Laugh and then act
The crimes of a broken soul
And I skipped to minore
When you weren't there

You did it again
And it's never over
Your heart to my chest
Your hand on my wrist
You whisper dark secrets
And lie me to pieces
I'll be here again
I'll stay up tonight.
